Inauguration of the “Park of Mountain Trades”

Educational project Parco dei Mestieri makes a welcome return to the TrentoFilmfestival. The aim of this initiative is to interest nine-to-twelve-year-olds from Trento’s primary and middle schools in the themes of the Festival, namely cinema and mountains, by teaching them about Alpine trades and crafts, both old and new.

Parco dei Mestieri will be run in the stunning garden of the Arcivescovado (the Archbishop’s See), which is open to the public especially for the TrentoFilmfestival. The event affords young people a first-hand look at the unique features and methods behind mountain work. Pupils will be watched over by the Festival’s elf-like mascot il Salvanèl who, in his many guises, will add an extra touch of magic to the Festival programme.
