MontagnaLibri displays the latest international production of books and magazines featuring the mountains: volumes on mountaineering and mountain sports, texts dealing with a wide variety of subjects on the mountain world, such as studies, researches and documentations on the natural environment, flora, fauna and geology, prehistory and history, economics and social phenomena, art, crafts and architecture, popular culture, ethnography, linguistics and folklore, but also literary works set in the mountains or inspired by them. Meetings with authors, presentations of recently published books and debates on the mountain book trade complete the programme of the Review week. 

Since 1996 MontagnaLibri has hosted, for one weekend, the “International Fair of Antiquarian Mountain Bookshops”, an event that attracts booklovers and collectors, which in a few years has become one of the most important international events and brings to Trento the best known European antiquarians of this sector.
