Participation regulations Montagna Libri 2010
Participation in the MONTAGNALIBRI exhibition is free of charge.
Publishers who wish to participate in the exhibition should return the enclosed entry form by post, fax or e-mail and send, if possible, two copies of each 'mountain book', CD and video on mountains and magazines specializing in mountain subjects. Two copies are necessary because of the growing demand to host MONTAGNALIBRI in other centres.
The term 'mountain book' includes guidebooks (on excursions, mountaineering, mountain biking, caving, tourism, etc.), studies and essays concerning all aspects of the mountains (flora, fauna, geography, geology and the environment, archaeology, history, war, art, crafts, ethnography, folklore, gastronomy, etc. in mountain areas), photograph books, literary works (novels and poems set in mountain regions), reports (travel and expeditions), mountaineering history books, biographies and autobiographies of mountaineers, etc.
The publication year of the books and CD-ROMs must be 2009 or the first two months of 2010.
All magazine editions in the year 2009 are eligible.
Reprints of books that have already taken part in the exhibition will not be accepted.
Publications of previous years, but not prior to 2006, will be accepted from publishers participating for the first time in MONTAGNALIBRI.
The publications must reach Trento not later than 10 March 2010, and must be addressed to:
MONTAGNALIBRI - TrentoFilmfestival
c/o Centro Santa Chiara
Via S.Croce, 67
38122 TRENTO (ITALY)
Publications arriving in Trento after 10 March 2010 may be displayed in the exhibition but will not be included in the catalogue.
Publications scheduled to appear between the end of March and the end of April 2010 may be included in the catalogue (see example of index card on entry form) and the books sent later for the itinerant exhibition.
