58th Trento Film Festival has begun his journey

The City of Trento will be feasting from 29 april to 9 may 2010

TRENTO (Italy).  For the TrentoFilmfestival, the oldest and most acclaimed international festival of films devoted to the mountains, directed by Maurizio Nichetti, the journey to the 58th edition begins.
 
Regulations and entry forms are downloadable from www.trentofestival.it. Significant news in Regulations 2010, are the  wording for some of the Prizes. In particular the three "silver gentians" will be from 2010 so motivated:
 
Gentian silver to the highest technical and artistic contribution
Gentian silver for the best medium-length
Gentian silver for best short film


Unchanged the most prestigious Prizes awarded by the International Jury:
-Gran Premio “Città di Trento” - Gold Gentian: for the best film of all, possessing high artistic qualities, that corresponds to the cultural aims pursued by the Festival.
-Italian Alpine Club Prize - Gold Gentian: for the best film on mountaineering or mountains.
-City of Bolzano Prize - Gold Gentian: for the best film on alpine sport, exploration, or adventure.
- The Jury Prize.

Also confirmed both the Audience Award for feature films and for films of mountaineering.
The deadline to enter the works at 58 th TrentoFilmfestival is 31 January 2010 for works produced in 2008 and 2009, February 28 2010 for the works produced in 2010.
